Mini moto Overview
Mini Moto provides big thrills on a smaller scale, making it one of the most accessible ways to go racing. Hosted primarily on the kart track at Utah Motorsports Campus, this series focuses on technical precision and bar-to-bar competition that challenges both youth and adult riders.
- Diverse Machinery: Classes range from Stock 50cc youth bikes to “Open Mini” 160cc+ machines and MiniGP bikes with clip-ons
- National Pathway: UtahSBK is a proud host of MotoAmerica Mission Mini Cup Qualifiers, giving local talent a direct route to the national stage.
- Safe & Technical: The kart track environment emphasizes cornering and braking technique over pure top speed, making it an ideal training ground.
- High Participation: Our “Adult Mini” classes are some of the most competitive and fun grids in the club.
Don’t have a race license but still want to race?
Mini Moto is specifically designed to be an entry-level platform. If you’re a first-timer, UtahSBK helps you makes the transition from the garage to the starting grid simple and supportive.
- No Mandatory School: Unlike the Superbike series, Mini Moto does not require the full NRC course, though we highly recommend attending a riders meeting for safety protocols.
- Simplified Licensing: Licenses for the Mini/Supermoto series are affordable and designed to get you on track with minimal red tape.
- Introductory Classes: The “Mini Sportsman” class is specifically for riders who have never entered a full race before.
