Superbike Overview
The UtahSBK Superbike Series is our premier racing program, hosted at the world-renowned Utah Motorsports Campus. This series is designed for those who are looking for the highest level of competition, featuring diverse classes that accommodate everything from production-based machines to highly modified race bikes.
- Professional Standards: We operate with strict adherence to safety and technical regulations to ensure a fair and competitive field.
- Elite Venue: Compete on a track, designed specifically for motorcycle racing with professional garages and amenities.
- Safety First: Benefit from our dedicated Air Fence program and rapid-response medical teams (under 2-minute response times).
- Progression Path: Our class structure allows riders to advance from Novice to Expert, competing alongside some of the best talent in the region.
New To Racing?
The transition from enthusiast to racer is a structured process at UtahSBK. We provide the education and certification necessary to ensure you are safe, confident, and ready for the starting grid.
- New Racer Certification (NRC): The fast track to getting your race license. Our comprehensive school covers track procedures, racing lines, and safety flags.
- StreetGP: Not ready for a full license? StreetGP offers a competitive “stepping stone” experience without the immediate requirement of a full racing license.
- Mentorship: Join a community where veteran racers and board members are available to guide you through bike preparation and technical inspection.
- Safe Learning Environment: Our “tough but fair” philosophy means you can focus on building speed while knowing the riders around you are held to professional standards.
Traveling Racers
UtahSBK is a destination club for racers across the Western United States. We make it easy for out-of-town competitors to join our grid and experience the “mystique” of the Utah Motorsports Campus track.
- Streamlined Reciprocity: We honor licenses from most major racing organizations (including MotoAmerica, AFEM, MRA, and more).
- AMA Sanctioned: Earn points that count. We are one of only 13 AMA-sanctioned clubs in the nation.
- Destination Track: Utah Motorsports Campus is a “bucket list” facility for many; our central location offers proximity to Tooele for lodging, fuel, and dining.
- Group Incentives: We offer discounts and incentives for traveling groups and out-of-state clubs to help make your trip more cost-effective.
Contingency
We prioritize “supporting those who support us.” Our partnership with national and local sponsors provides tangible value to our racers through payouts, prizes, and professional recognition.
- Manufacturer Contingency: Eligible classes can earn payouts from major motorcycle manufacturers and industry partners.
- Hole-Shot & Payouts: We work to secure cash prizes and race credits for top finishes to help offset your weekend costs.
- Publicized Podiums: Gain exposure for your personal sponsors with professional podium ceremonies and post-race media.
- Year-End Championships: Compete for prestigious class titles and trophies awarded at our annual End-of-Season Awards Banquet.
